I have a new passport and my visa will be in it Monday at 18.00 hrs thanks to aquanin and Goswell road now I need to find a flight monday night incase thomas cook have no flight for me when I ring Monday at 7.30 am

Wow, Vegasone - that's pretty amazing (well done to the Passport Office & VFS).
When you get back from this holiday that you are obviously destined to go on, we want to hear all about what happened.
Can't Thomas Cook tell you today if they have any spare seats on their Tuesday flight?
I don't think Monarch would be any good as they only fly Thursday & Saturday from Gatwick.
Thomson fly Saturday and Wednesday.
There are 7 seats left on the Wed 19/1 (TOM082).
I'm sure other people who fly scheduled either via Mumbai or Doha can give you alternatives.

my passport photo was already hideous no make up hair everywhere it was awful then I had to do them again and part my fringe... I will look at that passport now for the next 10 years and remember this day, oh and my mum came with me all over London for support which was nice.
thomas cook state they can not let me have a seat until 24 hrs before, I have no idea why however if I ring Monday and they tell me I cant have it I will have to fly indirect from heathrow via some where never done that before but I have to go even if it costs me 500 smackeroooney which is what they are selling at.

my husband lost his passport recently( or thought he had). When we enquired we were told the one day service was not applicable for replacing lost or stolen passports. The quickest was a fast track one week service. Luckily he remembered he had used it for ID when he picked up a parcel from the post office or we would have missed our city break. I see they still say that you can't do a same day service on their website. Don't tell me they are getting us bad as updating their site as India is!

i have been thinking about you today,so pleased you seem to have it sorted,Aquinen has come up trumps once again,we still feel lucky that we had him deal with our problem.Happy holidays
Thye dont issue pasports in a day this is true howver the lady at the counter felt for me and I cried when I picked it up 4 hours later... even though the photo in it is just awful. I now have to wait till monday to see if I can get on the flight

Really pleased for you vegasone that you got sorted. We booked our flights through traveup and they have a variety of choices going out on Tuesday from just over 400 pounds. The website won't allow you to book for Monday but it might be worth giving them a ring.

does anyone know if I can booka flight out and come back on my original flight? thomas cook tell me the indian gov wont allow you to fly out on one airline and come back on another 
Darren on the Flight forum would be best to ask but Im pretty sure if you dont use the outward half of your ticket it then becomes null and void. Also at one time the Goan Gov. had a rule blocking mixing and matching scheduled and charter flights, but whether it still stands, I'm not sure .

Hi everyone,just heard from vegasone,and great news,her visa was at Goswell road earlier and she is now on her way to Manchester by coach,so brilliant ending and v.f.s really came up trumps again
