We have a dedicated insurance topic in the General Enquiries forum with recommendations on Page 1.
Nationwide used to cover most hazardous activities as long as they were a one-off and not the main reason for the holiday. They have changed underwriters since I last checked, but it may be worth calling or reading their policy online to see if they still do that.
Otherwise it will be a case of reading several insurane policies as most list the activities that they cover.

I have boked my insurance with colmbus Direct, they cover a range of sports including tandem paragliding . Cost £32.75 total for me and my wife ps. she is also covered for paragliding but will not try it, i might of got it even cheaper if i had booked the insurance for paragliding for myself and standard insurance for her, could not be bothered with the hassle.

That's great, thanks Alan! I'll have a look later. I think i have managed to convince my partner that she has to do it and will regret it if she doesn't. The videos on Youtube look amazing, the view will be out of this world.
http://www.getmy.com for 2 adults and 1 child with asthma for an annual poicy and it costs £58 per year. It covers cancellation up to the value of £3000 so i think its great value as it can cost up to 3 times that for a single trip policy with some companies due to our daughter being asthmatic.
