I'm not selling anything it's just that I've been looking at Krakow extensively over the last few months and have become something of a semi-expert on the topic (combined with a couple of friends' input who are involved in the Polish property market).
Your budget dictates everything. Personally, I've been casting an eye on the new Angel Plaza complex near Wawel but it seems a but too pricey for me. http://www.angelplaza.pl
Ok-type "nieruchomosci" in google (perhaps also include Krakow) and you will get listings of Polish estate agents. The downside is that most of the results are in Polish but by using some common sense you should be able to navigate through the sites easily enough ("mieszkanie" means apartment).
It's always worth a shot emailing these companies even if their site isn't in English. Many companies have English speaking staff who will respond.
I am a private investor based in London that has developed 3 luxury apartments in an old 'kamienica' in Krakow a few blocks from the Angel Plaza development. They are based on ulica Kremerowska.
My apartments are due to be completed in September of this year, and I am just now starting to market them, as I am obvisouly a much smaller opertaion then the developers for Angel Plaza.
If you are interested in seeing the floor plans and some images of the apartments please contact me on --email address removed --
One last thing that you should be aware of is that as of 1 January 2007 the Polish government is introducing a new tax law, where any property purchased after this date will pay 19% tax on the capital gain on the property when you decide to sell it. However until that time - till the end of this year, if you do buy a property and hold onto it for 5 years then you will not pay any tax when you sell the property. So it would be very beneficial for you to buy something this year, to minimise your tax liability. In Polish law you are not the owner of a property until you have paid the developer in full your last instalment for the property and you have a notary act confirming your purchase. Therefore in the case of the Angel plaza development this will not be until 2007.
Good luck with your search, and maybe I will hear from you.
