My boyfriend(36) and I(34) are looking to book our first activity holiday and keen to learn to Sail(Dinghy) and Windsurf and have decided to combine it with a 2 week holiday to Turkey in May 05. So far i have shortlisted it to 2 companys and would be very grateful on your comments:-
Neilson Beach Plus - Seaside Hotel or
Mark Warner - Palm Beach Hotel - Adults only
Mark Warner are cheaper by £40 so im not looking to compare prices just the facilities that they have on offer.
I would like to hear your views and opinions on
1) The tuition and range of dinghy etc./kits,
2) Are your restricted to using them at certain times or timetables
3) Food,
4) hotel facilities & location.
5) How busy are they and is there enough equipment.
6) Weather in May
If you have previously been to any of the above resort or recommend another hotel which offer the same facilities i would greatly appreciate your views and opinions.
Additionally, traveleconomy have offered me a further 6% disocunt on this years prices if i book before the 21st November. Do you know of any other company that offer discount on such holidays or is it best to book direct?
At the end of the day... Which one do i book?

At the weekend i went into my travel agent (First Choice) and asked for their best prices on the above 2 holidays. Unfortunately they do not sell Mark Warner Holidays but they did give me a good price on the Neilsons resort. I was then given a 2004 Sunsail Beach brochure and after reading and speaking to the Sunsail Agents i was very pleased to see that they had 3 resorts in Turkey. After comparing the facilities with Neilsons and Mark Warner and searching reviews etc on the internet and seeing what new facilities they are offering for 2005 my boyfriend and I felt that Sunsail ticked all the right boxes. Even though the brouchure was showing a price of £940 per person and offering a further 15% discount i have been able to negotiate a further discount and booked with First Choice who gave me a price of £1580 total including insurances! 
I am still very keen to hear from people who have been to on Sunsail holidays especially those who experienced the Perili Resort.

Neilson have got their other brochure, 'Active' which has more activity and a bit less relaxation. Depending on the reasons you're checking out Sunsail that may be worth a serious look.
What a lovely hotel and how professional the Sunsail Company are.
This was my first sailing/activity holiday and hopefully will not be my last.
Staff were very friendly, plenty to do and loads to learn if you wanted to. You were not pressurised into doing anything you didnt want to do but you were given plenty of advice but then left to your own devices. The main thing was to have fun. Safety was very good, plenty of staff and everyone looked out for everyone.
I went in May for 2 weeks and by the end of my holiday i had built up enough confidence to sail 2 different kind of dinghy's and thanks to other experienced hoiday makers i was given the opportunity to go out on the day yachts where i learnt the basics.
Other facilities included, tennis, mountain biking, gym and keep fit & aqua aerobics .... All included free of charge.
A very special place, would happily return and would give this holiday and resort 9/10.
