its a late deal to the costa brava so i don't know which resort until we get there, probably be the main resort. any info would be appreciated, any recommendations on day trips would be helpful.

when I was a single parent my son was about 10 and at that age, they look after themselves make friends etc.. I went to castel montgri this year ( having split up at xmas!! ) as a single parent and it was even easier coz my son is now 16....

I would say get friendly with the reps, they will probably make an effort to look after you.. If you go to any of the family bars where theres lots of kids im sure it will be easy for you to make friends..

try not to use cash machines over there unless you have a nationwide credit card.. euros/travellors cheques are best..

thanks for the advice pat62, we go saturday and i'm looking forward to it with mixed emotions, just hope we have good weather. first thing i'll do is get advice from reps and just go with the flow. thanks again.
