hello, we have just booked our first ever trip to egypt for august 14 this year. we are very excited. hope you dont mind me asking, although a lot of thiese questions will be 'old news' for you !
are we better getting our visa's from the consulate before we go? we will be wanting to travel to cairo so i know we need one.
i have heard about the new bus 'al gouna?' to take us to cairo. has anyone any info/details on this? we wont be able to fly as our budget will not stretch to that as well as all the other things we want to do.
i only have a solo card-natwest- and at the bank they have told me althoughit has maestro/cirrus on it there will be nowhere to use it in sharm? so what is the best way for me to take money/ i will be getting it changed out there and only taking around £100 in LE when we go for first days or so expenses.
where are the best places to book trips? i dont really want to book with our reps as they do tend to overcharge and i would rather go with a recommended sharm company/operator?
thanks in advance, im sure there will be many more questions in time. we are just sooooo excited!
we are staying b&b at the sonesta beach resort!

The weather is fantastic and the people so friendly....in August you can expect the temperature to top 40 plus so loads of sun screen and natural fabric to wear.
Hope you have a great time
