This hotel is still being built. No indentification on it last week to show what it will be called

cheers fenman, thanks for the info.. i read a hotel review from someone that had stayed at the taurito princess and one of their complaints was that there was a hotel still being built next door and that thomsons had not told them about it. When we booked our holiday to there, the rep actually asked me to try and find out what it was called!!!
From the reply, i guess you have just stayed there...i hope you enjoyed it...

We actually stayed near Patalavaca but travelled around to Puerto Mogan 3 - 4 times in the 3 weeks we were there.
I am always interested to see what in being built around the island

i think puerto mogan is one of my fave places on the island.. and the views of the little harbour from the hotel at tuarito were stunning. I just hope that over the years they don't ruin that part of gran can by over building...

There's no telling what will happen in Puerto Mogan when the motorway is completed through to there.

i heard that the locals had wanted a tunnel or something cutting through the cliffs from taurito right through to mogan, rather than the road going up and over and round all the windy mountain tops..thats what we were told by a hotel worker when we were there in March. it would be ace if you could walk from taurito to mogan along the cliff edge, lower to the sea rather than the perilous route on the road round the mountains...i am sure it would be easy to cut a pathway or something..

Apparently the motorway will go right through the mountains from Tauro to Puerto Mogan coming out near the petrol station. Not sure when this is planned for though.

i love the road too, lovely views.. but its not that good to walk along... if there was something else going along through the cliffs with a view of the sea it would be great to walk along of an evening when you need to walk off the massive tea you just ate!!!
