The whole priority queue was all about what?? After they went aboard we all followed using the same gate.the priority people still had to wait for the others before departure!?

The airline don't lose bags, the baggage handlers do. Priority boarding ensures you're in the first 90 to board, thus ensuring you can keep your hand luggage in the cabin with you. After 90 bags they are checked into the hold, free of charge.
