I am going to be in Las Americas with my family on Dec 27th staying at Los Cardones at the top of the Patch. Even though I have been to this area a few times and know the area very well I was wondering if anyone can help me with a few questions regarding New Years Eve?
.I have read on reviews that a restaurant booking is essential for New Years Eve and that the firework display is on the beach at Los Cristianos.
.Is it best to watch the display from outside the bars at midnight or make their way down to the beach?
.Can anyone reccommend a good family restaurant on the beach at the start of Los Cristianos by the Med Palace?
.Is the display bang on midnight or after?
Cheers.
We have holidayed in Tenerife for Christmas and New Year for many years. In all this time we have NEVER booked for Christmas dinner or New Year and have always got into the restaurants with no problem. The fireworks are not just in Los Cristianos they are all along the coast. To be honest it doesn't really matter wether you are on a beach or not, you will still see them, and yes they start at midnight
Have fun
They have a stage with live music and stalls around selling streamers, food and beer etc. At around midnight they give out the traditional grapes which they eat to celebrate and once this is done folk flock to the beach to watch the amazing firework display....Hard to beat in my book
