Puddleduck- one little aside.
Be careful with the use of SOL as an abbreviation in the US- it's generally understood to mean that you're S*** out of luck.
Don't mean to be crude,but don't be surprised if you get some funny looks. :D

It can be tricky! LOL We are divided by a common language.
There should be no-no list for transatlantic travelers.

I am going on my first trip to New York in November and have booked a sight seeing tour with New York Party Shuttle Tours for £30 per person. It is a 5.5 hour tour and the reviews are very good. :D

Gill, you probably wont hear anything back from BAG (big apple greeter) until a few days before you go or even when you arrive so make sure you give them a mobile contact number as well.
