Has anyone got a good deal for next Christmas?
We have decided to go on 15th December(approx) for 3 weeks but everywhere I have tried are coming up with really silly prices now I know the prices are higher over chrimbo/new year but i dont wont to be totally ripped off no wonder the numbers are down this year,
any ideas? Allan.
Would you consider flying into Bombay then get an internal flight down to Goa?, with three weeks at your disposal you can afford a bit of time. There are loads of places to stay that are not in the UK brochures so finding a room shouldn't be a problem. If you start doing some research now on the internet and maybe make some enquiries you'll save quite a chunk I would imagine.

like Gff says fly into Mumbai...then down to Goa....
We did it this way in monsoon and are doing it again in March...its great fun and differant.
For flights go onto http://www.travelsupermarket.com and put in your details on "flights"....its so quick and simple.....any problems you have i will try to help.....
we wouldnt mind doing it that way but we are going with another couple they have been to Goa quite a few times but i usually book everything for them.Good mates but what a pair of flappers! I dont know if they would be able to cope with Mumbai,it would be a good buzz for me though (its ok they dont read this forum)
I will check flight prices out, Marian & I are back out in 29 days (but whose counting) will check some places out while were there
Allan.
I'm hoping to go from Brum on 8 Dec for just under £500 for 3 weeks (FO) don't think this is too bad - at least I won't be over here for Christmas!!!! I know I'll be able to get a room, I don't mind roughing it!
and heres me trying to be really organised (for once) allan.
We have just booked a 3 week hol with Eclipse going 11-12-07 direct from MAN paid just under £800 each stopping at Prazeres Resort.
I think its a good price for over Xmas, anyway its the best package price I could find.
Geoff
Been checking loads of flights packages etc. prices look good but when you put on all the add ons (fuel levy, passenger duty, local dep tax, flight supplement, meals , etc. etc. etc.) they are nowhere near the price you have started with
Still we are happy with £900 to be away for Xmas & New Year.
good price you got Geoff, well done. allan.
