I have 3 children ages 8-16
This is the first time I have been away in october.
Looking for a sunny resort with family entertainment.
Flight no longer than 4 hours.
Budget around £3000.

Canaries? Greece? A bit more info might help narrow it down a bit; e.g., what type of holiday - stay in the hotel, go out & about, bit if both...? What type of things do you want for the kids to do?
Probably Lanzarote or Gran Canaria if you want decentish weather in October.
