coral bay beach is very nice, but corralia beach which is about a mile further on is also very nice & a lot quieter.

Corallia is a nice beach but has to be replaced after storms, it is man made but looks ok, bit rocky for swimming although many do including me, there is a better beach about eight kilometer further on, but absolutely no amenities whatsoever, and only Turtles for company, Lara beach...

Not many know this but you drive by an excellent beach just after leaving the airport, many locals use it at weekends, you cant miss it as has a large lifesaver tower on it and a small portable cafe ..

And that's enough for a good day out for me.

A wander up the Avgas Gorge to work up an appetite, lunch, then a lounge on the beach. Wonderful!!

The beach you can see from there is of course is Lara ...
