The casino isnt a casino anymore, the building is used for the drag show.Changing Ladies are another drag act also, they put shows on in different hotels in PEK.A couple of hotels have night clubs,ie,Marhaba Palace and Golf Residence. There is a so called Irish Bar opp Marhaba Palace close to the marina, its quite popular, they have entertainment and TV screens with the football on,they dont sell guiness!!.I believe there are more night clubs in Sousse, you could try there,a taxi is approx 7 dinars, thats in daytime.
There are three drag shows in Tunisia, or at least there used to be. Changing Ladies is the longest established and absolutely fantastic but there is also Golden Girls and another one whose name escapes me, both of which are quite good fun. As Crispy says they do put on shows at various hotels but when I was out there in October the Changing Ladies performed at the Casino every week and I seem to remember it was on a Wednesday night. You may find that your rep will organise a trip, but it is just as easy to simply turn up and pay at the door. It is very easy to get a taxi from PEK to Sousse and not expensive, but remember prices go up in the evenings (also remember to haggle). Hope you have a lovely time. I'll be back in Sousse on Sunday week and really looking forward to it.
thanyou for your reply were all looking forwaed to it now, we will prob stay at the hotel most of the time but want to get them all out and about a few times, am i right in thinking there are night clubs in sousse if so im sure thats where the younger of the crowd will head for.
To be honest,I dont think Tunisia is the place for night life!!since they opened the Irish bar about 2 years ago, this is the in place in pek,Ive only read on the forums that Sousse has a few night clubs, but personally I cant see them being much!,but the hotels are lovely and so are the beaches, and its not an expensive place at all,I love it there,Ive booked to go back to Turkey twice this year but I will be back to Tunisia next year.
There are a few nightclubs in Sousse and I think the best known one is the Bonaparte, opposite the Taj Marhaba. There is also another one along the Corniche, I think it's called Dreams. I've no personal experience (wrong age group) but the younger members of your party shouldn't have a problem finding somewhere to dance the night away.
