I hope so as well. We were in there every night as we were staying just over the road. Best pub in Goa in my opinion
it was really friendly and I thought a lot of expats were there. Would be so disappointed if it had closed. Food was good as well.Definitely staying beside it at Kingstork. Stanley remembers us well. Probably something to do with him making me go to the hospital the first time to see about my finger; and then the second time arriving 2 days later as OH got stuck in the North Sea and then travelling with terminal 5 on its second day of opening and so having no luggage at all for the whole trip.
chilly
That's what I want to hear!
The food was very good and cheap but it was decided it was no good for the meets, in fact while we was all fed up with the music, menu and prices at Rams, I think we all started to realise that moving the meets from Rams would be very hard as his venue is ideal, the service good and he does individual bills
So thats where you all were hiding.....
We obviously have the same tastes, we're going back to Goa after a 4yr break, staying at the Kingstork ( possibly the finest little hotel in Goa ), I hear Stanley has added another floor, not sure which one we are on yet but whichever it is I'm sure it will be fine Stanley and Ruena are superb hosts.
As for the Nirvana, I fully agree it is one of the best bars in Calangute, the Sunday lunch was exceptionally good.
All in all that particular area of Calangute is perfect, close proximity to the beach, and not as hectic as the rest of the town.
Barney
Stanley is putting us on the top floor
Fiona.......when are you there, we arrive on the 26th Nov for 4 weeks
we don't go till the beginning of April. Wish it was sooner!
