Sailing on the Norwegian Spirit in 10 days time and we still holding a gty inside cabin. Whilst I'm not worried that we have no cabin at all, I would like to know where it is!!! Do you think we should contact the TA and ask them if they've any information. I do understand that on the odd occasion people are not informed of their cabin until they actually check-in. Maybe we are going to get an upgrade - I can only hope
My guess is that you could get an upgrade. Even with a guaranteed cabin you normally get your cabin number with your check in documents a few weeks before sailing.

Back from our trip and will do a review when I'm more 'with it'. It was the Saturday before we sailed on the Thursday when we finally received our cabin allocation and YES we did get an upgrade. We went from a standard inside cabin to an OceanView and it was great to be able to look out the window!
