It will be interesting to see whether the new law banning the sales of drinks by the glass will affect bars and cafés:
Guardian today
Imagine not being able to sit in a bar or restaurant with a glass of something.
"Restaurants that already have such a licence can continue selling alcohol in glasses. The ban is for those little shops in neighbourhoods that put some chairs and tables outside their shops and sell alcohol."
It means that we've probably been sitting in bars or cafes who haven't got the correct licence.
Phew.
