Hello,

I occasionally look at this site, and saw your questions about Dunas Douradas.
I do not know much about Dunas Douradas Beach Club, but I have stayed in Dunas Douradas before. I work for a villa rentals company called Select Resorts (web ad deleted...wiz), and stayed in a 3 bedroom villa there whilst on a work trip. I'm not sure about building in the Beach Club, but there are no works which I am aware of in the Dunas Douradas area. I would definitely say that Dunas Douradas is suitable for families. There is a really nice communal pool which also has a children's pool. The other benefit is that it is walking distance to the beautiful beach there. 24 hour security makes it feel a safe environment, and there will be lots of other families there for the children to make friends! All the accommodation I have seen there has been extremely good, but all the properties are different as they are decorated to the owners taste. There is also a restaurant on site (the food is yummy!) so everything is very convenient making an easy family holiday. The other thing I would say is that this area of the Algarve is very up market, so it feels quite exclusive, with pretty surroundings.

Hope this helps, but let me know if there are any other questions you have!

Kathryn
