It is a suburb of marbella the nearest beaches are at each side of puerto banus. Some areas are within walking distance but being a large area a car can be necessary if you are up near the golf courses. Fairly upmarket area with lots of good places to eat. No olde spanish about it though, but many apartments around there are owned by people from madrid.
