We stayed there 5 years ago so things may have changed since then but we found the hotel to be perfect. The food in the hotel restaurants was excellent although you do pay 5* prices. We were brought iced towels and fruit on skewers every aftrnoon. The hotel staff were helpfull and friendly. As far as its location, you can walk into the main town, we did it once just to see how long it did take (about 25 mins) but there is a shuttle bus that goes to all the hotels in the area and takes you into the town or the hotel will call a taxi for you which costs peanuts. We loved our holdiay there and hope to return one day. Bali is a fantastic place. We traveled there with Hayes and Jarvis and they offered us a private guide and air conditioned car to take us around to the sites, such as the monkey forest and the temples. We didn't feel isolated there at all, we thought it was perfect all round.

taxis are ridiculously cheap. Also you can hire a car and guide for the day very cheaply. We were £17 for the whole day. He will take you where ever you want and can also suggest an itinery based on what you want. Bali is absolutely stunning. I can have a look for our drivers number if you want. Perhaps other members have drivers they would recommend.

Our driver was Wayan Kamar. We will be using him again in August. I can give you his email address and phone number if you want- just pm. What I also liked about him was that we found out so much about life in Bali.
He is an artist and happy to take you round the artists villages. Just let him know what you want to look at.

Wea re getting married in this hotel next year & haven't been able to find any reviews either. It does however look like a beautiful hotel
