I have just booked flights for 5 nights for 2 people £54 I am looking for a hotel near porteventura near the beach near the night life, thats not dirty etc. Double bed a bonus and a pool thats open incase its hot.
I have looked at the reviews but it takes forever fishing out the bad ones. I stayed at villaromana in July lovelly but not in this budget... i have £100 to spend any ideas
what about the hotel marinada, £108 through travel republic if you use the promo cardstudent , just booked this for my friend and the reviews are quite good. Its near the main strip in salou and 5 minutes from beach.
what about an apartment. i've booked with universal holiday centre. good prices but pools are closed.
im going on the 14th oct staying with a mate but checked hotel prices for 5 nights 14-19th hotel caspel came up as £108 for half board caspel handy for night life but abit of a walk to porteventura
Most expensive first - 4* Regina Gran - still a 10-15min walk to Port Aventura but a really nice hotel. £119 room only, £132 b&b, £146 half board (not bad considering 5 evening meals each) - all booked with Hotelopia, using 9363 as discount code
4* Salou Park - £96 room only no balcony though, through Hotelopia using same discount code as above.
or go cheap as chips and treat yourself to cabs to Port Avenura by staying at the 3* Sun Club. Its is Cap Salou so a decent walk or a cab/bus ride into town, but £62 for a one bedroom apartment for five nights. For an apartment I don't think thats bad value. Thats with Hotelopia again using the 9363 discount code - which I am amazed still works after all this time!
Hope this is useful
thanks everyone. How do I know if the pool is open in these hotels?
I was looking at royal effedicio is that any good? £79
sorry ive never heard of them and didnt find any reviews.
I am in a quandry, do I pay £80 for a cheapy hotel or go £130 for somehwere like the gran regina...there are so many hotels with different opinions on all of them. All I want is a pool, a double bed, and a clean room.
well whatever you decide you might want to book it quick as the 15th october is a school holiday in scotland .
thanks
I have booked the Gran Regina for £115 hope its ok.
Regina Gran will be fine. 10 minutes if you stride as much as me to Port Aventura. Or hop on a bus.
have a great time. wish i was going! If Ryanair flew to Reus from East Midlands, I'd be there all the time.
you planning on going to Port Aventura more than one day? might be worth investing in a seven day pass for £53 (or a 14 day pass for £54 and passing it on to someone in resort - i did) rather than paying the daily entry price. KEith prowse ticketing the best for this i found.
we are going to portaventura and I have seen 3 day passes on internet for £34 each
365 Tickets have 7 Day Passes for £39.95 per adult.
