Hello
We are also going to Turkey in October for the first two weeks but staying in Turunc, just down the road from Marmaris. The weather in October is still very good, you may need a jacket/cardigan in the evenings but during the day its still hot. We have been at this time of year before a few times and we have had two holidays where it rained/thunderstorm once in the day and once in the night so its really pot luck. Sorry can't help with your query on Marmaris Palace. I am sure you will have a great time.

I can only echo what kim has said, it can be lovely and hot during the day, but a bit chilly at night, ive been for the last 2 octobers and it did rain a couple of times during the night, and once for an hour or 2 during the day, but it soon hots up again! :)

we stayed at the marmaris palace easter last year and it wasnt very good, not sure if this was due to it being the start of the season or what, but rooms are in need of revamp, very basic, food was very limited and not that good, all slides etc were closed, so please check reviews for oct before booking this hotel, we liked the location and views from the hotel, but didnt like the hotel and its definitely not 5* standard more 2-3.

we have been going to turkey oct every year and the weather the last 2 octs we had 2-3 days of rain and thunder out of the week, although temps warm, we did have some good days and at night light jackets were needed a couple of nights
