They're Travelodge type rooms. Breakfast is simple buffet style - not full English or anything fancy.
For the hubby's birthday I have booked an overnight stay at the Lodge on the same day as a Twenty 20 cricket match - hopefully we can sit on our balcony watching the cricket on a balmy summer's evening!! Review to follow!!
You'll enjoy it! I've been to 20/20 and the rooms are great for that. We also saw Bruce Springsteen there a couple of years back and I would have needed to remortgage to afford a room for that!
Off to the Twenty/20 this week - looking forward to watching Lancashire win a match!!!
We watched Lancashire get mopped by Yorkshire from the comfort of our balcony at the Old Trafford Lodge this week. We enjoyed our visit to the Lodge - the room was adequate - complete with ironing board!! The view was fantastic - pity about the performance.
Glad you enjoyed it. I'll be there myself again next week!
