I confirmed my holiday booking with On The Beach, made my payment in full over the phone.
I then received a balance outstanding of 00.10 of which, threatened cancellation if I were not too settle. I paid via my email notification as it requested following the links. At no point was i advised that there would be a fee of £10 (of which I assume this is relating!?)
I have only noticed my bank statement confirming a payment of £10.10. I think this is appauling and should I have been made adequately aware I would have paid by some other means.
I have requested a refund of £10, considering I was led to believe my account was settled on booking over the phone. Now I find that any queries to your customer services are charged at 50pence per minute! Clearly more insulting, due to the fact the original invoice for was that of 10 pence!!
