Family of 5 heading to Ontario August 05. We spent last year in CAP Salou also and it was nothing short of fantastic for a family holiday.
All the convenience and amenities of its bigger brother but none of the late night aggrevations.
The cove at CAP salou is lovely as is the beach at La Pineada, The aquapolis a great value day out for the family. If you are going with children the universal theme park is a must, the 7 day and 14 day tickets represent excellent value as the park does warrant repeat visits.
We were told last year that it was too expensive to eat in the park and so brought snacks, rubbish I tell you, complete rubbish, the food was both good and fairly priced.
CAP Salou is excellent, I fully recommend it to any family.
Now about those Ontario apartments..... I dont even remember seeing them last year....where the hell are they??
My friend is going this day week.
2 families 1st 2 adults and 2 children ages 2 & 4 2nd 2 adults and 4 teenagers.

No,it lets you see apartments and the grounds etc.go to first choice website,put in ontario apartments in advanced searc,and bob is your uncle.
if you click on more photos i think there are about 6 pics of pools apps and the building itself.

We head off from Belfast on the 8th July too, only 3 weeks and 4 days not that I am counting !!! I am beginning to panic now as I haven't even started to get organised yet, but that is all par tof the excitement !
I have been reading some good reports about the Ontario Apartments and we are really looking forward to it now

We have flown with First Choice the last few times we went on Hols. Nothing special but more that adequate. My mom and dad are just back from Lanzarote and flew with Futura and said they were really basic. Nothing to eat on the plane which isnt really a major thing because it is never very good anyway. But there was a trolley going up and down the aisles for the whole three and half hour flight selling various things, hard to get to pass to get to the bathroom.

I just wanted to know what they were like because im a nervous flyer and so is my mum.
I'm not so bothered about how basic they are to be honest because were only on the flight for 2 hours.

My friend that I originally posted about is due back on Wednesday so I will get a run down on how it was for them and post. She text me early on into her holiday and said the Appartments were fantastic so hopefully that still stands. I will let you all know on Wednesday or Thursday

Hi all going
My friend arrived back yesterday. She said the appartments were really nice furnished really well. For her (as she has 2 young children in buggy's) the location was far from ideal. It is up a steep hill in the middle of no-where. They had to use public transport to go anywhere. The pools were very nice. She was dissapointed as there was no mini-disco or any sort of entertainment at night as a result if they stayed around the apparments at night the kids were bored. They had booked the holiday a year ago and had specifically requested a pool view which they didnt get.
She did have a fantastic holiday and coudnt fault the appartments in any way apart from location.

I knew you had to bus or taxi it into the centre of Salou, but I really hope you can walk to the local pubs supermarkets etc:

Sorry that last post was probably a mis leading yes it was Salou they had to get buses for also for the beach (it was about 3 miles away). There were pubs and shops within walking distance.
There was a kids club (she didnt avail as her youngest was to young and the other wouldnt go in alone). There were games throughout the day. But it was evening entertainment that they missed. There may be entertainment during peak season but was none while she was there.
Any other questions just ask and I will ask her.

We are due to arrive at approx 1.00 in the afternoon, can you check in straight away, and is it really 100 euro deposit, and must it be cash, or can you give travellers cheques, or maybe your credit card number ???
And one last one................ are the supermarkets close by and reasonably priced, not that I will be buying much to cook, but just for the neccessities, and the beer !!!!!!
