Last August when we were going to Cuba my mum asked me to pack the toiletries so I did, making sure I packed shampoo, conditioner, argon oil, leave in conditioner, deoderent, spare deoderent, every event covered!
When we got to the resort my mum decided to clean her teeth, to my horror I realised that she still uses poligrip

The next morning we had to go to the emergancy clinic to try to get some denture adhesive, the rep warned us there was little that could be done (which we knew as we've been so many times to Cuba) we got to the clinic and with my patchy spanish managed to communicate that we needed something for my mum's dentures. The dentist came out and snapped his examination gloves on, instructed my mum to sit in the chair and communicated that he did not see why we wanted him to take her last remaining teeth out

I then managed to find the Spanish for "we don't have false teeth glue" he then started laughing and gave her some powder.... expecting it to cost 100's of pesos we got the purse out, to which he said "you made me laugh it's a gift"

From now on she's packing her own stuff
