yeah your near, what i would call the best row of bars, 'the strip' which is located about 5 mins walk from you, behind the vulcano hotel.
You have the

corner bar
brahams and liste
coconut joes
hole in the wall
a few others and the fantastic soul suite.

I'm guessing that your rather young with there being 25 of you.

Well in 10 mins time you can be at the starco area which has loads of great bars for the young, so i'm told

Hi Salford we stayed nextdoor to the Optimist, at the Coral Beach, last time we went. It's in a great spot, a pleasant stroll to Veronicas and Starcos (which will probably suit you under 25s) and on the way there you'll pass 'The Patch', an area of good bars/eateries near the Parque Santiago I & II apartments. And as wickedchris said, in the other direction you have 'The Strip' where we spent quite a few great evenings. You'll have a great holiday!

You may find this map helpful CLICK HERE The Optimist Apts are on the far right of the map, if you walk further to the right, 'The Strip' is just behind the Vulcano Hotel; if you walk over to the left, you'll eventually reach Starcos.
