Yes, about 6 years ago when our kids were younger and less demanding!
Difficult to be objective as we we've since had better accomodation and had a bad experience the year before on mainland Spain but at the time we were very pleased with the Oro Playa, particularly the location.
Puerto Pollensa has two main walkways, one along the beachfront and the other through town. They converge and meet just about where the Oro is located. Walk across the street and through a 50' cut through and your on the beachfront very close to the 'Pinewalk'. Out of the Oro and do a right and your heading to town and the square.
The pool is quite small, but it's not a huge complex. Try to get a room overlooking. The entertainment was good for us at the time and the apartment was clean and tidy.
I've since had relatives who've stopped further up the road and if as they agreed it's all about location, location, location the Oro Playa is a superb choice.
