Hello.
Myself and my girlfriend will be visiting Kassiopi on the 2nd of July for 2 weeks. We cannot wait. I've been to Corfu many years ago now and am excited about going back. It's also my girlfriend's first time to Greece fullstop!
I have only visited Kassiopi before as a child and have no recollection of it. After reading pleasant reviews we decided to go ahead and book it.
We are staying at Michelangelo Studio 2 apartments. We have booked through Portland which is a subsidary of Thomson, so I'm hoping we are in the newly built block.
I just thought I'd see if anyone had any advice on where to go, what to do, what to see etc. during our stay. I am aware of some nice beaches which are a short walk away from the town. That's about it. If anyone has any fond memories of some nice bars or restaurants please let us know.

we were in Kassiopi for our silver wedding 4 years ago. I can't remember the names of the restaurants but we didn't have a bad meal at any. There are a variety of boat trips to be had from the harbour. We particularly enjoyed our evening in Corfu town which we undertook by boat. Here is a photo I took of the little harbour

We cannot wait now. The last time I went away was Zante 2008. Any idea how much spending money is 'enough'?

We were in Kassiopi a few years ago and hope to return very soon, I can recommend a taverna called Janis which was excellent and still gets very good reviews now http://janisrestaurant.com/
Trip wise I can also recommend using http://www.kassiopi-cosmic.com/ who are based in Kassiopi and the owners stay locally, a visit to Corfu town is worthwhile and for something a bit different take a short day trip to Albania which is located just of the coast from Kassiopi.

We have just returned from Kass.. we had a lovely week , we are going back in september.. we have been going there for 10yrs now , so that should saysomething about the place

We go to Kassiopi every year it is fantastic!! The michaelangelo appartments are quite far out of the main villlage so we have never stayed at them. Accomodation wise we liked Solaris appartments, Theophlis 1 ( on the beach) , Marika ( again on the beach) , Andreas ( there are 2 andreas appts in kassiopi, make sure you get the right one lol) . Restaurants we enjoy are Bolero, the lovely Vangelis and Kiki run it. Also Strofilia run by Gaynor and Thassos. There are many other nice restuarants in Kassiopi, I cant say we have ever had a bad meal !! Entertanment wise be sure to go to Kostas Bar for the greek dancing at 10pm every night, its superb!!
we are going back for the 6th time this year to Kass,we stay at the dimas studios.We like to eat at petronas(which has now moved down to the harbour),stroffillias,bolero,kassiopi star but to be honest we have never eaten anywhere that was bad.If you want music/quiz type bars then we would go to illusions or angelos and for a quiet relaxing drink watching the sun go down over the ionian sea there is nowhere better than the harbour bar.There is nowhere like kassiopi (in our opinoin) you'll love it
Who did you book the Dimas with this year? We loved it there when we went on a package holiday almost 5 years ago. I don't think any TOs do it now and you have to book direct with the owners. Do Chris and his mum still run the place? Such lovely people.
yes Chris and his mum and family sill run them,i just e mail chris to book the studio,book the flights with who ever i can and chris will organise a taxi to pick you up from the airport or you can just get one outside,going again this year,7th time cant wait
Have a great time. The Dimas is a place I'd love to go back to if we could find a reasonably priced flight from our local airport.
