I have always used Ferris coach company and always travel on the ferry, i think last year for some reason or other they did use the tunnel, but i think they are using the ferry again this year

yes last year was the 2nd time we used ferris and went by eurotunnel

ferris use ferries. as do siesta(except for a wed trip to salou). cantabrica/hoverland/sunways all use ferries.
there was problem at calais last year with one of the ferry docking places which was causing problems and that is why ferris were using eurotunnel for a lot of crossings.
note that all companies reserve right to use tunnel at there discretion.

As posted on this site, ferris are using the ferry this year as first option because of some people were concerned over euro tunnel.

I wish a few more companies had taken the tunnel last year, as i can vouch for how horrendous the problems were at the docks .... i think we spent around 2.1/2 hours for the crossing because of the lack of docking areas!
