Hey hello,
I don't know if this is in the right area of the forum but I'm looking for some advice.
Do First Choice sell package deals for single travellers?
I have been looking up a holiday that I really want to go on but it will only let me book if 2 people go. My friend was going to come but she has now said no and I still want to go.
I tried to book the holiday online for 1 person but the search came up with no package deals for that resort for the single traveller. Does this mean that they do not do single occupancy? Have yet to call FC and ask, I don't want to be disappointed I guess.
Doing flight hotel and transfer is very expensive and the package holiday is a total bargain.
Thanks
Princess Nicky
I have just tried a random booking and it allowed a single persons booking , maybe it is only some holidays that can be booked for one person only.
Why not just ring and ask. Just a thought but the bargain you saw was probably based on two sharing so I would imagine a single supplement will aply.
I have just realised it's a 2wentys holiday so I guess that is why they won't take me on my own.
Hopefully I can get my friend back on board but if not I will have to rearrange all my plans

See how much it is to book for two (an invisible man?) sometimes this is cheaper than 1 due to under occupancy rules. Might suprise you! Just because you book two doesn't mean you have to take someone.Give it a try.
Other travel agents may be able to book the FC holiday with single occupancy or book a flight seat and the hotel separately themselves.
I queried on a booking I made whether I was getting a cut price FC holiday or not and was told that the travel agent could easily book First choice plane seats if I wanted them, but they booked the hotel rooms through local companies and therefore got much better prices. As it turned out the local reps were local and so we got a much better deal.
I also recently checked on another recommended travel company's web site for a turkey holiday to a specific hotel and found that the comapny booked the flights and the rooms separately and so the rooms were cheaper as the prices were for up to x sharing and not just individual. I still couldn't afford the holiday though!
