Hi, just got back yesterday night from Alcudia, we had paella at S'Anforra restaurant and it was the best we have ever had, they do different types of paella. This is a very popular restaurant with tourists but especially with the Spanish, which I think is the sign of a good restaurant. It's at the bottom end of the main strip accross from the Taxi rank and where the horse and carriages are. All the food we saw there looked nice and it was very reasonably priced.
thanks carol. so is it by the tabac shop up near the beach as i remember thats where the horses were but may be wrong or could have changed? not been for a few years. do they do other things as well cos not all our party will probably want paella?can you remember approximate prices etc? sorry for all questions but i cant wait now. havent packed yet though. 2 of my sons went on saturday and say the weather is lovely so hope it stays that way. thanks again. mandy
Hi, it's on the corner at the bottom of the main strip, next to the main road near the beach, can't remember seeing a tabac shop. They also do pizza, pasta, steaks, tapas and a set 3 course menu for about 15 euro. We had boneless paella for 2, a pizza, a pasta dish, garlic bread, wine and 2 soft drinks and it cost about 62 euro, we ate there in the first few days of our holiday so I can't remember exactly the prices but I did comment on how reasonably priced it was.
