Hi Jerry

Have a look at this site

http://www.majorca-airport-transfers.com/

We have used them in the past and have found them to be reasonable.

Would definitely recommend Resorthoppa picked me up from Palma direct to hotel door and back again with absolutely no problems.

Agreed I used Janerbus last week for a return taxi for 3 to Palma Nova Cost 60E with no money up front, the best company I have used by far

I agree. Take a look at that site.

If you don't get round to booking there are always scores of taxis waiting outside the terminal. Probably around 28 euros one way.

Hi, it would be 60euros(one way) with Janerbus, dont know if it would be a bit late to book now, but you could try their website, but it might be a bit cheaper to just get in a taxi at the airport

Hi thanks for the reply,

Just got a quote of 116 euros return going with janerbus, does anyone know if this is good or would a taxi be cheaper, going to playa de muro

thanks

For return, sounds ok. A neighbour here in Playa de Muro says her daughter paid 70 euros one-way for a taxi from the airport a few weeks back.

If travelling with more than 4 passengers a taxi can't acommodate you.

We used Autocares Levante last year and Janerbus this year - couldn't really fault either service but Janerbus were in my opinion more professional - there was no doubt where we would be met inside the terminal and where we would be collected from. The driver also thoughtfully brought along 2 booster seats for our 4 year old twins for the return journey which was greatly appreciated.

Next time we'll definitely be giving Janerbus our custom again.

Instead of arranging transfers, why not just pick up a taxi from outside the airport, obviously for less than five people ??? I would imagine a portion of the transfer price would include the "waiting time", so in theory a regular taxi would be cheaper, even more so if four are travelling together. I'm off to Palma in a few weeks time, just for a few days, and I'm still debating whether to hire a car for a few days, or take a cab.
Are taxi prices at the airport expensive ?? I'm only staying at Playa de Palma, so would imagine it would only cost around €10/€15 or so each way.
Any good recommedations for car hire without having to pay for a full tank and retuning empty, as I will only be using around five litres ??

I have just returned from Magaluf, we jumped in a taxi outside the airport and this cost me 33 euros. There was loads waiting there.

Robbyw - original poster already said 2 adults & 3 children so relying on a taxi outside the terminal is no good and therefore arranging a transfer is fairly essential unless of course they want to split their party up and go in 2 taxi's which from experience will probably be equal to or more than a transfer in a vehicle with more seats.
