Magaluf and Palma Nova are both about 15-20 minutes from the airport. You could try booking accomodation thro an online booking agent. I've had good prices from both Alpha Rooms and Travel Republic. Hope this helps.

Ca'n Pastilla is the closest IMO - you can actually see the airport from some hotel roofs.

Ca'n Pastilla has a lovely beach, and enough bars and restaurants to see you through. You can also walk or take the land train into Arenal.

I stayed at the hotel Leo Can Pastilla had a good view of the airport, and a fab time. My review is on also. CBG

We could see the Leo CBG from our terrace in the Brasilia you're even closer than we were to the airport - by a smidge

Yes can throughly recommend the Brasilia, and we booked it through Alpharooms, good price.

Im sure there are equally good hotels/aparthotels around but the sea view from this one does it for me!!!!!

If you like ribs go on the trolleytrain into Arenal where there are loads of restaurants (mostly Dutch/Swedish) doing unlimited ribs, really good value.

The resort is not in the least "British" so if you like Magaluf you might not like it........I'd say most of the visitors are German/Dutch/Swedish/Spanish and even American...........but thats why we liked it.............we didnt want all day fries and pints at 1 Euro..............and the walk along the beach early in the morning and late at night is just georgous.

I can get the brasilia for £80 for 2 of us but they want £44 for return taxi from airport! would i be better just getting a taxi when i arrive??

Also whats the weather like end of november??

last time i was there (end of feb this year) i paid 8 Euro from airport to Can Pastilla and 10 euro back to Airport

44 quid is a rip off

Yep jump in a taxi at the airport Andy or book with a airport transfer company as suggested £44 is way too much.

watch out for taxi touts when i was over there last month as we came out of terminal building & was heading to the taxi rank some bloke approached us offering to taxi us to our resort(Torrenova) claiming to be much cheaper than the taxis we declined his offer.
