The weather in February is likely to be cool, occasionally cold, although frost is rare, you will need a light jacket for daytime, and a warm coat for evenings. However we do have many bright days and frankly it's my favourite time of the year.
I once sat on the balcony and got a bit of a sun tan in early february, but it cannot be called hot.
Sorry!
Cheers
Adam
We went in february two years ago and it was great after leaving England. The first day was a very soft warm, second very sunny but the wind had an edge but great with an anarak, third day was warm we sat outside eating and my wife was hiding in the shade of a tree as it was so warm.
We were at the Son Matias (next to the St Lucia)in early Feb this year and we will be again in 2007, I echo what Adam has said and we did wear a jacket in the evening but on most days I was out in a short sleeved top during the day as it was warm in the sun.
There are two nice bars opposite your hotel which are usually busy until late evening and there are several others in the area (and you can stroll into Magaluf to Adams bar too!!)
Like Adam I too enjoy Majorca during the winter as you can get on the buses to Palma or other resorts more easily than other times of the year.
Magaluf is really quiet and unrecognizable as the noisy, busy place you normally hear about.
I hope you enjoy your holiday.
Sue
