Hi danksybaby ! I can't remember a market in Palma Nova. The best market on the island for me is the Inca market on a Thursday, but my mind's just gone blank as to where it is - somebody on this site is bound to know.

Was in Palma Nova for 2wks July '04 and there wasn't any markets to my knowledge. I'm a market goer so I would have sussed it out. Have been to Inca market as suggested in a previous thread on an excursion and wasn't worth the look out (in my opinion).

Where are you staying?

Thats where our friends stayed!! We visited them several times. We were just up from it at Mimosa Park. Are you all inclusive then? Its well situated. Theres a big supermarket, ??Capabro, Capabrino, something similar, just up the hill from your hotel and right next door to Mimosa Park if you forget anything.

did you think it was nice??

im a bit anxious from reading its mixed reviews on here.yeah i am all inclusive.

what did your friends think of it?

They loved it, they had a family room for 2 adults and 2 teen boys, and they said it was really big. I never saw their room we only went to the pool side and also went their one night for entertainment. What we saw we liked. They said the food was nice. Entertainment at night was outside. Right across is a lovely mini golf place (I hate mini golf but lovely grounds if you have kids). Since they went in '04 they won't go anything but all inclusive it was such good value (drinks served in plastic cups and 1/2 pint glasses, that I do mind because the men had a moan about it!!) We were just up hill in Mimosa and we loved everything about it except the bedrooms (very small and drab), food and entertainment was fab and that gets terrible reviews so I wouldn't let the reviews put you off. P.N Palace and Mimomosa were both in same hotel group in '04 and were Hoteteur. Have fun.

No market in Palma Nova I'm afraid - your nearest one would be Andraitx on a Wednesday morning. Living here in Mallorca, personally I don't like Inca Market - my favourites would be Pollensa, Alcudia or Felanitx on a Sunday morning, or Sineu on a Wednesday morning.

What day is the market in Alcudia and where is it located. Thank You.

There are no markets in Palma Nova or Magaluf. There is a small, and I mean small one, in Calvia on a Monday.Manacor on a Monday dont know how big it is.Worth going to,rather than treking all the way to Alcudia,is the market in Santa Maria del Cami on a Sunday.
You could make a day of it, calling in the designer outlet, just as you come off the dual carriageway for Santa Maria. And the large supermarket just a few miles after youve joined the road going north.I think its called Alcampo or something similar.
Alcudia market is located in the town of Alcudia itself. Not in the tourist area known as Puerto Alcudia where all the hotels are.
I could give you driving instructions, but its easy to find.
