Hi, we were at this hotel last month and found this hotel very nice. Certainly not your 4 or 5 star but very clean and hotel staff very friendly. To get anywhere there is a steep incline of a road to walk up but only a short road and from there you walk either round a beautiful church or through the courtyard to the village. 5 mins walk i,d say to the bus stops and village. As a base we loved this hotel as the view from 90% of the rooms have wonderful sea views. We only had bed and breakfast so can,t comment too much on food but breakfast comprised of toast and cereal and sausages and scrambled egg. not alot of variety but did us. Hope you,re not looking for a pool holiday because the pool is the size of a matchbox and does not get sun but venture down to the beach and it, wonderful. overall we had a lovely stay at this hotel beacause it served a purpose to our holiday. We would definately use this hotel again. Hope you enjoy your holiday. Let me know how it went. Wish i was going back. We loved Malta! : :D

great review - glad you enjoyed Malta - did you make it to Gozo though ?

Yes we went to gozo. took the shuttle ferrry as we were so close to ferry terminal. ALot cheaper than booking a trip. Also had a taxi driver for the day which we got for 16 lira, after a bit of bartering.

hope you enjoyed Gozo - LM 16 is a good price - how long did you have, and where did he take you ?

Went to temples (can,t remember the name of them) showed us view of ramla bay. went to another resort where ther was a small beach. there we had lunch and swam. saw alot more though than if we,d waited for bus. queues were horrendous!

temples - Ggantija
small beach - probably San Blas - oh, you ate there - in that case was it Mgarr Ix Xini ? - other side of the island than Ramla, down a steep concrete road, with one cafe at the bottom - if so, this is one of my favourite places to eat in Gozo, and not just because its run by my neighbours ! - or was it Marsalforn, the major resort town in Gozo (or even Xlendi ?)

buses are a waste of time in Gozo, unless you just want to go from the harbour to Victoria

Marsalforn i think. had quite a big modern hotel overlooking bay.

We had definately read some horror stories but i can safely say you should enjoy it. best hotel for views anyway. wouldn,t want to stay anywhere else. I love the beach so realyy it was only resort in Malta I would go to. Have a lovely holiday :D

PS make sure you get a sea view room. only about 6 or so side rooms so you would be really unlucky not to. views from rooms over gozo and comino brilliant and you also get to see sunset.
