You should be able to buy a parasol there beach shops. Think we paid about 8 euros and just left it in the room for someone else.
We had a free one somebody had left and then left it when we went home, all you need is luck, but they are not expensive if you have to buy one. Much cheaper than hiring, you wont find any sharks in the med they are all on the beach hiring out loungers and parasols
