We're planning to visit Paros and Sifnos in June. We've been to Sifnos before so we're wondering whether we should spend most of our time in Paros, and whether we should also include another island nearby. We're a couple in our early 40's, not interested in clubbing, but keen to enjoy local bar/restaurant life by night, and keen to visit quieter places, rather than really touristy spots.
Does anybody have any advice on what we might do?

Paros port (Paroikia) is considerably more touristy than anywhere on Sifnos, but you could try Naoussa or go and stay on Anti-Paros nearby. They are smaller resorts but do have a few bars and plenty of restaurants. Naxos is very near and this has a decent selection of bars for every taste at least in the Chora. You can't really go wrong which ever island you choose.
Dubliner - we are a couple in late 40's - early 50's and spent two weeks on Naxos two years ago - absolutely loved it! Trying two weeks on Paros this July so looking forward to that, is Sifnos accesible from Paros, how long would it take on a ferry, any idea? Ouzo, sure you can assist with this one

Brilliant ,thanks for that. Yes, Sifnos is served by ferry on Tues and Sun this summer, and is easy to get to.
