Hey,
I'm booking for a week to these apartments this coming June with Thomas Cook, and wondered if anyone had any info on the apartments and surrounding area. I just wanted to know if anyone knew how the 3 bed studios work, are there 3 beds or 2 and a sofa bed? As if this is the case we may upgrade to a 1 bed apartment.
With regards to Troulos is it easy getting into Skiathos Town on an evening for a meal, and then maybe returing midnight/1am as do the buses run well into the night? Also, must you purchase a sunbed to use Troulos beach are would we be ok just usuing our own beach towels and plonking them anywhere on the beach?

WE went to Troulos a couple of years ago, and had a fabulous holiday. I can't remember seeing these apartments thought. We stayed at the Lida Maria. Troulos itself is not much of a resort, most of the apartments are just off the roadside (there's one main road that runs around the island). There is no central point to the resort. The beach is nice, but we went to nicer beaches whilst there. You can use the beach with your own towels etc, no problem. Transport to and from Skiathos town is easy, the bus runs about every 30 mins and takes probably about 30 minutes. It gets exceptionally crowded going into Skiathos town in the evenings, but we managed it fine with 2 children who loved every minute of it. Hope this helps
