she doesnt need a p[assport, but she will need a form of ID (Ie picture driving license) she may be lucky & not be checked, i always have been tho

Lets hope shes not checked as I know her driving licence is the old paper type!!!

In the terms and conditions for travel Irish ferries satte that they will accept bank cards as proof of ID. There is an agreement between uk and Republic of ireland governments which means that you don't need passport to travel between the 2.

:offtop If you're flying you do need photo ID for which you can use photo driving licence.
