Hi all
Some advice please, we are in the process of booking HAL cruise from San Diego - Mexican Riveria - through Vacations2go for 19/04, have sorted out flights, & hotels independently - no hassles. The only part I am confused about is the visa's V2G have said we are responsible for them.
I think we have machine readable passports, mine was renewed in 2004 on name change, how will we know if they are machine readable, V2G websites state we also need to apply for a visa as we are doing multiport in and out of the states - how do we go about this - and has anyone else done this.
Can't believe that I have managed to save nearly £400pp on the prices that travel agents over here were quoting me - by booking it all myself - and there prices have not included hotel stays.
7 night cruise - £440 each = £880
flights to San Diego = £668
4 nts hotel San Diego = £280
all prices include taxes = about £900 each
Is this a good deal? Have to phone V2G tonight to confirm.
Your passport will be machine readable if it has chevrons >>>>>>>>> at the bottom of the photo page.
When we did a panama US-US with Mexico ports we did nothing in advance on the visa front. visa waiver on the UK-US flight, and getting off the ship in Miami. cannot remember if we did anything for Mexico on the ship.
