Even though you lost no valuables it must have been really upsetting. I always use handbags with shoulder straps and keep a hold of the bag at all times.Also it is always so that it is inbetween myself and husband.

Fiona, it was a shoulder bag - the 1st motorcyclist tried to knock it off her shoulder, but didn't, it was the 2nd bike that managed to unhook it after she was knocked off balance.

Yes, Georgetown was nice place, plenty to see, we took a rickshawe ride the guy was very good as we darted in and out of the traffic, he kept saying he was the king of the road and he was - in fact I liked Penang. We'll go back next March, but split it with Singapore and Langkawi.

Yes- I liked penang as well. Singapore is great, haven't been to Langkawi yet.
