HI
My husband and I would love a week in turkey in September, and my husbands mother would love to join us, she is 81 and not the best a walking . we have been to Marmaris and Gumbet the last few years, we love Gumbet, but it can be a bit hilly. Can any one suggest a good place to go, the ideal would be flat and in apartments with their own entertainment as I don't think she would be able to go far in the evenings.
All suggestions greatly received.
Jenni
Icmeler is pretty flat in the centre of the resort and has plenty of Accomadation in the centre also, hope this helps.
I am in a similar situation as your mother in law, and I find Bitez is the perfect place for me.
Like Mikenmarn I think you should look at Bitez, flat the whole length of the beach, lots of quiet hotels and good dolmus service when you want to go a bit further.
How about an A/I hotel where all the entertainment is in the hotel, without haveing to wander about.
Just a thought. Travel insurance may be difficult to obtain/expensive for an 81 year old. You might want to check it out before committing yourselves to any booking, if you haven't already.
Thank you for all your replies, does anyone know what the entertainment would be like in Club Julian, in Marmaris, this has been recommended to us
