Can anyone who has been to Purto De La Cruz help me re this cloudy cover. Is it true that in the afternoon they get a covering of cloud??? I love sun bathing so dont really want to book to go to this part of the Island if in the afternoon the sun is covered over with cloud. I am looing at going August yes next week!!!!

We have a place in the North and go 4/5 times a year.
You will find that the North is coudier than the South, there used to be a big difference in the weather but not quite so much now.
In answer to you question the cloud is unpredictable, sometimes it is cloudy all afternoon and then about 4 completely clears or it is cloudy all morning or all afternoon - you can never tell.
Remember you can still get a really good tan under the cloud and it will still be hot....
PDLC is gorgeous, really, really worth going.....
