i am sure we will love thailand, this will be our first time there and dont know anyone who has been so we will have fun finding our feet, we plan to take the train to bangkok at some point during our stay and explore some of the area, we are not prudes or anything like that, we just wanted to avoid the edgy atmospheres that you get in those types of areas in europe ( not that i visit them often) . thanks everyone for your replies.
