we loved the planos bay apts esp during the day plenty of good restaurants at the planos end of tsilivi, pint seems to be 2.5 to 3 euros, food varies from 6 e to 10 e for a main course except steak of course, try friends bar its quite lively and the staff are brill, also the ark and the 2 brothers,

hi sharon, we stayed at the planos bay last year for two weeks and loved it. the apartments themselves are basic enough but clean which is the main thing. the pool area is nice with entertainment going on all day. we prefer the beach so can't tell you too much about it. the beach is just a short stroll down the road and is really nice. we used the beds beside the alexandra hotel as it has an excellent beach bar where we had our lunch every day . there are loads of bars and restaurants with entertainment going on every night. we didn't have a bad meal for the two weeks.
i found there was plenty to keep the kids happy. there is a fully air conditioned bowling alley which was great to entertain us all for an hour or two. there is also an area which has lazer shooting, paint ball shooting, trampolines and many other bits to entertain the kids on the way up the road on the left hand side can't remember what it is called but you will spot it no bother. our kids really enjoyed tsilivi. i would also recommend hiring a car for a day or two the scenery is breath taking and a trip to the ship wreck and the blue caves is well worth it. the car hire shop just beside planos bay is run by an english speaking gentleman and he gives maps and advise where to go. hope you have a great time

thankyou for advise. Can anyone advise if what ive been told is true they charge 40 euro a week for the safe and 5 euros a day for air con. seems im having to budget for whole load of other extras i didnt think about especially the safe that'll be 80 euro for the to weeks seems an awful lot.
