Mahon, whilst not as big as any major UK City is still a fair spread.

Two things I think that would appeal to all ages in or near Mahon would be:
The glass bottom boat trip that you can get in the harbour area in Mahon -we went on the yellow catamaran one and it was good and not too expensive
A trip to the horse trotting races on Saturday evenings - less than 10 minutes in a taxi from Mahon - starts approx 6pm
Other than that the normal things like beaches etc, waterpark, horseriding all driveable in less than an hour
