You won't have a problem going to Cyprus after you've been to Turkey. I've travelled to both countries and never had a problem. I've got 3 Turkish visas stuck in my passport, will have 4 in Sept. Last time I went to Cyprus, they didn't even look at the passport, just the information page with the photo at the back. Don't worry, you'll be fine.

nonsense , been back and forward to turkey and cyprus for years ,withno problem ,passport may scuetise your passport a wee bit more than normal ,but there wont be a problem enjoy your holiday and congratulate your son for me .my daughter was married in cyprus three years ago ,we had a brilliant time

This problem goes back to when Turkey invaded Cyprus years ago and there was problems with going to Cyprus/Greece/Turkey this no longer applies now and you can go freely from one country to another without any problem.
