Hey Everyone,
I need some help i am leavin for the algarve tom morning most of packin done n cases n hand luggage almost on target for weight and wud love to make them a little lighter just incase my scales are off dont want to get charged at airport, anyway my problem is i have never been to the algarve before and everyone keeps telling me it might not be tht warm, may rain, is usually chilly etc etc etc. and i normally just take summery things to wear, bikinis, skirts, shorts, dresses etc, but after everyones advice panicked a bit so threw some nice dressy jeans etc in, n was wondering so you think it wud be wise to take them out n save on the weight? as we will have a car so evening we will drive into town then hav lil walk about looking for nice restaurant etc or will it be too cold just for skirts etc on night? i dont mind been lil chilly but dont wanna be shivering?
Sorry for the long post just panickin and time is ticking.
Cheers Sweet
It's 8:30 pm as I write and my Algarve web cam tells me it's 68F in Faro as I write.
Thanks

Regarding driving into the resort for meal at nightime, just a word of warning be very wary about the drink drive laws in portugal as the legal limit is a lot less than the UK, and the Police (GNR) are on the ball stopping people at random especially on any roundabout you care to mention, best advice I can give you is take TAXI if your going to have a good night out as 1 drink at 5% volume (1 40cl beer) could be over the limit. Take Care & enjoy your holiday.
